Miles Kane: ‘Last Shadow Puppets to return after my solo album’

Miles Kane has confirmed that he Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner’s band The Last Shadow Puppets will return.

Speaking in an interview which you can read in full in this week’s issue of NME, Kane said he thinks he and Turner will resurrect the band after the release of his debut solo album, which is due out next spring.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely,” he said. “After I’ve done this stuff, I guess. I’ve got a few things up my sleeve.”

The Last Shadow Puppets Play a Set in LA…???

The latest development in the story is that Alex and Miles played five or six of THEIR OWN songs after Eagles of Death Metal and before Queens of the Stone Age in LA last night. This is massive news. I’m leaving work early, but my source has generously concented to keep me posted on any further updates including potential pics and videos.

There is a strong possibility that this did indeed happen, because of what Agyness tweeted last night.
